For as long as I can remember, I've never had the desire to have children. Being the oldest of six made me realize that I'm not meant to be a parent. However, in the last year or so, my position has softened somewhat. The birth of my second nephew made me realize that I have some maternal instincts that were dormant. I'm still not sure whether or not I want to be a parent, but damn it if I'm not a fabulous auntie to my three boys!
